A standout showcase during Shoreditch Design Week, AHEC’s immersive exhibition Wood for the Trees brought its timely message on sustainable design and the future of our forests to the UK.
Presented by the American Hardwood Export Council (AHEC) in collaboration with Mitre & Mondays and Benchmark, Wood for the Trees invited visitors to experience a meditative journey through the life of American hardwood – from forest to finished product. Inspired by AHEC's feature-length documentary Forested Future, the London exhibition combined striking spatial design with compelling educational storytelling to explore responsible forestry, sustainable material choices and the vital role our forests played in building a more resilient future.
