BinSight Benches is an installation that explores the aesthetic, functional and educational potential of materials considered to be waste, particularly those that are difficult to recycle.

Using these discarded materials, the project’s creator has designed a series of unique benches that will be displayed across the festival site. The installation invites visitors to sit, interact and learn, transforming the concept of reuse into an accessible and engaging experience.

Each bench features a QR code linking to an interactive quiz, inviting visitors to identify the materials used while providing further information about their properties, challenges and potential for reuse.

Through interaction and exploration, BinSight Benches encourages conversations around sustainable design, reuse and material innovation, demonstrating how materials often perceived as waste can be given new purpose and value.
