SoftTrace Studio to Present TraceMatter™, a New Family of PHA-Based Biocomposite Filaments, at Material Matters London 2026
SoftTrace Studio will present TraceMatter™ at Material Matters London, held during Shoreditch Design Week from 15–17 September 2026.
TraceMatter™ is an evolving family of PHA-based biocomposite filaments developed for FDM 3D printing. The first formulations combine PHA with recovered shell powder and seaweed residue, creating distinct colours, particles and tactile surfaces. The exhibition will bring together raw materials, printed samples, object and surface studies, and an ongoing soil-exposure observation.
The presentation is a pre-launch preview. Full production spools in Shell White and Seaweed Green are planned for October 2026.
