A playful, camp interpretation of “sitting in the hot seat.” In terms of scale, a stool is very similar to a fashion garment such as a bag or a boot, hence the idea of ‘dressing up’ its structure in a costume-like, textile skin, mimicking a piece of performance attire being put on the human body. Thus, beyond its original functionality, the stool also becomes a tool and a character.
