ALULA ALULA
Alula originates from the designer’s fascination with the calla lily — a flower admired for its clean silhouette, elegant curves, and quiet sense of natural refinement.

Rather than directly imitating the flower, the design abstracts its characteristic form. The original petal-like structure is duplicated, layered, and gradually enlarged, creating a modular composition where individual elements interact to produce a new organic expression.

Through symmetry and repetition, Alula explores how natural systems can inspire contemporary forms. The arrangement creates a sense of movement and vitality, as if the structure is unfolding or growing within space.

The name Alula refers to a small but significant part of a bird’s wing, which plays an important role in controlling direction during flight. This connection reflects the designer’s appreciation for natural intelligence — where even the smallest structures contribute to balance, movement, and life.
