Arrti Mansinghka
Founded by Mumbai-born artist Arrti Mansinghka, who continues to live and work in the city she grew up in, the studio begins its journey by experimenting with cloth. She works with discarded textiles not as waste, but as material already lived in softened, marked, and carrying traces of other lives.
Through layered appliqué, she builds dense compositions where landscape, flora, fauna and the human form surface slowly, as if remembered rather than made. Nothing is erased; edges remain, histories persist. It is about the human impulse to preserve what is slipping away to gather fragments, make meaning from what remains, and find that even the discarded can become an enduring archive of who we are.
