Her was created from the designer’s memory of his mother during his years studying abroad. The familiar image of her presence gradually became an emotional symbol — one associated with warmth, protection, and quiet companionship.
Through an organic and anthropomorphic form, Her transforms this personal memory into a universal experience. The layered translucent structure allows light to flow through the body of the lamp, creating a soft visual depth similar to crystal or flowing water.
The internal structure was carefully developed to support and guide the flexible lighting system, allowing the light source to move naturally through the form while maintaining a clean and seamless appearance.
Combining recycled PETG, stainless steel, and robotic additive manufacturing, Her demonstrates how contemporary technology can serve as a medium for expressing human experience, rather than becoming the focus of the object itself.
