Khambatta is a furniture manufacturer based in Ahmedabad, India – a city renowned for its woodworking tradition and rich history of modernist design. The workshop was founded in the 1990s by architect and designer Ismet Khambatta. Over the past three decades, Khambatta has built a team of skilled craftspeople and collaborated with designers such as Gajanan Upadhyaya to create a rich and diverse furniture collection. Today, together with Shaan Patel and Paula Schilliger, she is shaping the next chapter of the company.
