Designed in partnership with acoustic experts acou.space, the system brings together their acoustic design knowledge with Applelec’s specialist lighting, engineering and manufacturing expertise.
Rather than treating sound absorption and lighting as separate elements, LumiSorb Flex Wall allows both to work together as part of the architecture. Flowing illuminated lines can introduce gentle visual rhythm, support orientation, define different zones and help make corridors, entrances, reception areas and other shared routes feel softer and easier to move through.
Patterns, colours, scale and illumination can all be adapted to the project, allowing the wall to respond to the atmosphere, function and sensory requirements of the space. Lighting can include tunable white and other adaptable options, with the potential to link into circadian-conscious lighting programmes so illumination can change throughout the day.
LumiSorb Flex Wall can be shaped around architectural features and functional requirements, creating anything from a subtle illuminated acoustic backdrop to a full-height feature wall.
