As part of Applelec Interiors’ Designing for Calm approach, LumiStone has been adapted for neuroinclusive and sensory-considered environments through the Calm Collection — 12 curated designs specifically selected for their natural movement, balanced composition and softer visual character.
Rather than relying on high-contrast or visually busy pattern, the collection explores how colour, materiality, organic form and controlled illumination can be used to create surfaces that feel warmer, more restful and easier on the eye.
Each LumiStone panel is made to order, with pattern, scale, application, colour temperature and brightness tailored to the needs of the project. This allows designers to create anything from a gentle focal point in a waiting or recovery space to a larger illuminated feature within quiet, breakout or wellbeing environments.
LumiStone can be applied to walls, splashbacks, reception desks and bespoke interior features, with illumination engineered as part of the surface from the outset rather than added afterwards.
Alongside the Calm Collection, bespoke patterns can also be developed for individual schemes, giving designers freedom to respond to the sensory, aesthetic and functional requirements of each environment.
