LumiZone – Adaptive Lighting for Neuroinclusive Spaces

Developed as part of our Designing for Calm framework, LumiZone brings together flexible linear illumination, illuminated surfaces and intelligent lighting control to help define spaces, guide movement and create more responsive interior environments.
Rather than using one fixed lighting condition for every user or activity, LumiZone allows brightness, colour temperature and atmosphere to be adjusted to suit the function of the space and individual sensory preferences.
Integrated illumination can also be used to create clearer spatial cues, helping distinguish routes, destinations, activity zones and quieter areas without relying on additional visual clutter.
Where appropriate, controls can give users direct influence over their immediate environment, allowing them to select a lighting condition that better supports focus, comfort, rest or activity.
LumiZone can also integrate with tunable white and circadian-conscious lighting programmes, allowing light to shift throughout the day in response to changing needs and natural rhythms.
The system can combine linear lighting, RGBW or tunable white solutions, illuminated Light Sheet and other bespoke light engines depending on the project brief.
The result is not one fixed product, but a flexible lighting toolkit designed to bring clarity, comfort and control together within neuroinclusive interiors.
