Panocha – Upcycled Steel and Strap Chair

Panocha is an experimental upcycling chair constructed from repurposed curtain rods and used transport straps. Its slender steel frame and narrow straps give the object an almost fragile appearance, while its upright geometry creates a confident sculptural presence. The contrast between playful details and deliberately rudimentary construction is central to the design. By transforming discarded materials into a functional seating object, Panocha explores resourcefulness, material reuse and the beauty of simple construction. Materials: painted steel and reused transport straps. Dimensions: 0.5 × 0.4 × 0.9 m. Designed in 2024.
