The Research Table began with a memory: books propped at an angle, within easy reach, on a childhood desk built for long afternoons of reading and writing. That gesture is reborn here in a curved sheet of aluminium that cradles the desk's underside with an unmistakably industrial confidence, topped by a teak surface finished in a rich indigo polish that gives the wood unusual depth and warmth. A deliberate gap between the two materials creates a slim storage channel for pens, papers, and the small essentials of a working desk, while a lower shelf keeps the surface itself clear. The legs are minimal and round, finished in wood with aluminium accents at the joints, echoing the desk's central material dialogue in miniature.
