The Serene Table Lamp is inspired by soft minimalism. Soft minimalism is a term used to describe the Scandinavian approach to minimalism. It is characterised by conscious choices in objects and furniture that creates an environment which is comfortable and warm. Sustainability is a fundamental part of the Serene Table Lamp where I focused on design for disassembly and reparability; the lamp can come apart in order to easily change the fabric. Serene Lamp is dimmable and can be angled in different directions to create multiple light settings, you can either choose to see the texture of the linen through the radiance of the bulb, or you can see the celebration of the material where the brass is illuminated, making the lamp glow.
