Spita – Beech and Steel Table
Spita combines a solid beech top with an expressive arrangement of pointed steel rods that appear to pierce the timber from below. The deliberately rough treatment of the steel contrasts with the calm and precise wooden surface, creating a dialogue between wildness and restraint. A U-shaped footprint keeps the area beneath the worktop open and provides generous legroom, allowing the sculptural structure to remain functional as a desk or table. Materials: painted steel and oiled beech. Dimensions: 1.2 × 0.8 × 0.75 m. Designed in 2021.
