TAPESTRY PANELS IN WOVEN METAL
A sculptural exploration of metal transformed through the language of textile, this trio of hand-woven wall panels reimagines the softness, rhythm and movement of traditional weaving in an unexpected material. Individual strips of stainless steel, brass and copper are woven by hand into distinct geometric compositions, allowing each metal to retain its own character brass brings warmth, copper develops a rich earthy luminosity, while stainless steel captures and reflects its surroundings. The deliberately loose, cascading edges reveal the individual strands of the weave, giving the otherwise rigid material an almost fringed, textile-like fluidity.
