The Qadir Chair

The Qadir chair is an exploration of a few of the most prominent crafts of the area. It merges Esparto grass weaving with metal work, traditional ceramics and loom textiles to create a modern take on how these might evolve. The frame is made from mild steel with an esparto seat and a 100% wool woven back using colours inspired by the traditional Fajalauza ceramics.
