A brushed jacquard knit develops this idea through softened colour fields and changing textures, allowing imagery embedded within the textile to become partially obscured and transformed. Memory takes on a physical surface that appears simultaneously present and fading.
The reversible trouser-skirt extends this sense of continuity through movement and dressing. Its restrained black exterior can shift to reveal patterned fabric, gathered volume and elongated panels, allowing different material states to emerge around the body. Across the look, knitting and transformation frame memory as an ongoing process: carried forward, altered and continually re-formed through lived experience.
