Viking is a large-scale table defined by a massive oak top resting on two sculptural steel structures. Folded flat steel elements converge into pyramid-like bases whose sharp geometry contrasts with the warmth and natural character of the timber. Developed in relation to the raw landscape and architecture of Iceland, the piece celebrates weight, permanence and honest construction. Rather than concealing its structure, Viking makes the supporting elements a central part of its visual identity. Materials: painted steel and natural oak. Dimensions: 3.9 × 1.2 × 0.75 m. Designed in 2023.
