Be Arktos is a design and furniture studio by Benno Lang, working at the intersection of craft, material exploration and contemporary furniture design. Shaped by a close engagement with steel, the studio creates pieces defined by reduced forms, visible construction and a quiet sense of presence. Its work ranges from sculptural furniture and bespoke objects to selected office furniture for contemporary spaces. Design and making are understood as one continuous process. Material qualities are emphasised, structures remain legible, and each piece develops from function, construction and use. Often combining steel with natural materials such as wood, Be Arktos brings together precision, weight and warmth in objects that balance utility with a distinct sculptural quality.
