The studio is committed to crafting objects that are functionally efficient while maintaining a distinctive and unconventional design language. BLANK approaches each project as an open question, exploring the rituals, habits and small moments that shape how people interact with the objects and spaces around them.

For BLANK, design should do more than solve a problem. Each object should either provoke an emotion or change something small about how a space, ritual or moment is experienced. Physical interaction is an important part of this approach, with particular attention given to how materials, forms and touchpoints influence the relationship between a person and an object.

The studio’s work spans furniture, lighting and product design, combining digital design and manufacturing with experimentation in materials and form. BLANK is particularly interested in creating objects that feel unexpected without becoming gimmicky, balancing strong visual character with practical function.

Since its founding in 2025, BLANK has exhibited at Milan Design Week and received an IDA Silver Award for its Cuadro tableware collection. The studio will present the Sima Lounge Chair at the ISOLA Design Group exhibition at Shoreditch Design Week as part of London Design Festival 2026.

Still at an early stage, BLANK remains a small, independent studio with ambitions to grow into a wider design consultancy, working with brands and manufacturers on custom products, collaborations, licensing and limited edition pieces, while continuing to develop its own collection of objects.
