Carbon Cell provides an alternative to polymer-based foams, with a patent pending, plastic-free foam made with carbon-negative biochar. This black foam sequesters CO2e, and can replace rigid foams in moulded forms and sheet materials for use in a wide variety of applications. Featured as one of Dezeen's best designs of 2025, exhibited at London Design Festival, Dutch Design Week 2025, and Milan Design Week 2026, and named one of CleanTech Group's Top 50 Startups to Watch.
