Developed by students at Istituto Marangoni Design in collaboration with Poltrona Frau, the project explores the concept of “total living” through interior architecture and luxury hospitality. The exhibition reveals how design can shape more than a physical environment. It can also influence our emotions, interactions and experiences, transforming a space into something we truly connect with.
At Istituto Marangoni Design, we do not prepare students for a world that already exists. We prepare them to create the Next.
Based in the heart of Shoreditch, Istituto Marangoni London Design is the Design faculty of one of the world’s leading universities and a benchmark for the international creative community. The story of Istituto Marangoni began in Milan in 1935 and has since grown into an international network of eleven campuses worldwide. The Design faculty offers bachelor’s programmes, master’s programmes and short courses in interior, product and visual communication design, working with eminent designers and leading brands.
At Istituto Marangoni, there is no one-size-fits-all approach to talent. Each student is recognised, challenged and developed as an individual. Through learning by designing, one-to-one mentoring from leading industry figures and real-world projects, students turn curiosity and ideas into vision and vision into something the world has never seen before. We nurture our students’ creativity and take it to the next level. This is the “Marangoni Method”.
Rooted in Italian design culture, the school provides a dynamic, international environment in which research, craftsmanship, innovation and new technologies come together to shape the next generation of designers.
