Only Natural is a global student design movement championing natural materials in fashion and interiors. Founded to put emerging designers at the heart of change, the competition challenges students and recent graduates to create with natural fibres - from wool and hemp to wood and cotton - across two categories: Fashion (Accessories, Apparel, Footwear and People's Choice) and Home (Furniture, Interiors and People's Choice).
What began as a design competition has grown into an international movement connecting education, industry and material innovation. In its first two years Only Natural has reached students in more than 60 countries, built partnerships with leading institutions, natural fibre trade associations and has shone a spotlight on young, talented designers - who use natural materials - during London Design Festival.
Central to the movement is our network of natural fibre cooperators, whose support helps showcase materials, build commercial pathways and grow long-term demand for natural fibres over synthetics.
