Spared is a Brighton-based design and material innovation studio exploring new possibilities for waste. With a mission to keep valuable materials in circulation and out of landfill, particularly within the design industry, the studio transforms overlooked waste streams into thoughtfully designed objects, furniture and surfaces. At Material Matters 2026, Spared will launch Second Song: its first collection of sculptural birds, created using waste generated through its own projects, prototyping and workshop processes.
