Sustainable Ply is a British materials company transforming recovered corrugated cardboard into lightweight, high-value engineered panels.
Its patent-pending core technology gives discarded cardboard a second life by combining it with a range of functional surfaces to create materials for furniture, interiors, signage, displays, art and temporary installations.
The expanding material family includes Sustainable Ply structural panels, SP-FB printable fibreboard and SP-ONE, a modular flat-pack system for plinths, display structures and furniture. Products are designed and manufactured at the company’s workshop in Lewes, East Sussex, using locally recovered cardboard and water-based adhesives.
At Shoreditch Design Week, Sustainable Ply will demonstrate how circular material innovation can move beyond prototypes and into practical, beautifully resolved applications.
