WORKSHOP - Neurodiversity – A Material Consideration within Planning and Architectural Design
The session with delve into the principles of neuroinclusive design across town planning and architectural disciplines, giving rich insight into how the principles of guidance such as PAS 6463 and Neurodiversity in Planning’s own Design Booklet are being – and could be better - applied in real-world projects.
The session will examine the status of neurodiversity as a material planning consideration in town planning, giving an overview of how this has been embedded within policy at national and local levels, and case study examples where this has been implemented in decision making.
An interactive and sensory focused presentation will take place, followed by small group discussions on neuroinclusive planning considerations based on case study scenarios.
