The Product Design 100
The project launches as a major new publication and exhibition for the brand, bringing together 100 of the most compelling industrial design projects from the past decade. The book and accompanying exhibition offer a clear snapshot of where product design is today, spanning consumer tech, furniture, lighting, mobility and related disciplines.
Design Burger has previously delivered exhibitions and live programmes in Milan, Paris, Shanghai, London and San Francisco, working with designers, brands and institutions across international design weeks. Building on this experience, the London Design Festival presentation will be realised as a pop-up store and curated display, offering a distilled physical expression of The Product Design 100 through a selected group of featured projects.
Designed as a place to pause within the pace of the festival, the space will invite visitors to step inside, spend time with the book, flick through its pages, enjoy a coffee and engage closely with a small number of featured products in a relaxed, informal setting.
The presentation will form part of Shoreditch Design Week’s London Design Festival programme, with Design Burger working closely with the SDW team to help introduce and amplify the week’s new identity across its global audience of more than 8 million monthly viewers.
