Shoreditch Design Week are pleased to announce Gloria from the Big Mama Group as an official food and drink partner for 2026. On Saturday 15th August, Gloria & friends will be hosting 'La sagra di Shoreditch', the ultimate Shoreditch day fest!
Introducing the first-ever Sagra di Shoreditch - a spectacular 300-guest Italian street party celebrating the joyful holiday of Ferragosto. Inspired by Big Mamma's renowned Big Table event in Paris, this larger-than-life celebration will transform the beautiful Museum of the Home gardens into a vibrant open-air feast, complete with vast communal tables, dishes from some of Shoreditch's favourite restaurants, retro summer anthems, live performances and dancing late into the evening. Set within one of the area's hidden green spaces, Sagra di Shoreditch is a celebration of the neighbourhood that Big Mamma proudly calls home.
Guests will enjoy a four-course feast created in collaboration with some of Shoreditch's best-loved restaurants. The experience begins with an indulgent antipasti spread from Gloria, featuring enormous 5kg Mozzarella di Bufala, XXL Burrata, Prosciutto Crudo di Parma and more. Kricket follows with a platter of its signature spice-infused Indian favourites, before a refreshing Pasta Fredda with yellow cherry tomatoes, courgette and Taggiasca olives. To finish, Blacklock's iconic white chocolate cheesecake will be scooped tableside for a memorable finale.
Throughout the day, Luca and the team from Passione Vino will be serving a carefully curated selection of Italian wines, ensuring glasses remain full as guests eat, drink and celebrate together.
