For London Design Festival 2026, Flourish presented The Shape of Us, an immersive community-led art installation exploring identity, belonging and inclusive design.
Presented as part of Shoreditch Design Week at Shoreditch Town Hall, the installation brought together 3D self-portraits created with an intergenerational group through The Exchange Community Hub, powered by North Paddington Foodbank. Illuminated and suspended within a shared structure, the individual works became a vibrant expression of different voices, perspectives and lived experiences.
The project reflected Flourish’s belief that design should be shaped with communities, strengthening connection, confidence and belonging.
